Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Finches website, mobile applications, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Finches is owned and operated by Vet Easy Inc. By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using Finches, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
Effective Date: 1 March 2026

1. Eligibility and Acceptance of Terms

Finches is a documentation and clinical workflow platform owned and operated by Vet Easy Inc. Finches is designed to help users create, organize, manage, and review transcripts, summaries, notes, SOAP-style records, templates, custom drug notes, dosage-related materials, calculators, conversion tools, and related documentation.

Finches may use artificial intelligence and related technologies to support transcription, summarization, note drafting, content organization, and other workflow-related tasks. Finches may be offered through a website, browser-based application, mobile application, and integrations with third-party services. Features, tools, and functionality may be added, modified, suspended, or removed from time to time without notice.

2. About Finches

Finches is an AI-assisted documentation platform designed to help users create, organize, and manage transcripts, summaries, notes, SOAP-style records, templates, and related documentation.

Finches may offer features through a website, browser-based application, mobile app, and integrations with third-party services. Features may change from time to time without notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

You may be required to create an account to access some or all features of the Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services:

   • in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or professional obligation;
   • to upload, process, or share content that you do not have the right to use;
   • to infringe the intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights of any person or entity;
   • to upload malicious code, viruses, or material intended to disrupt or damage the Services;
   • to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, accounts, systems, or networks;
   • to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Services except where prohibited by law;
   • to misuse, copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or exploit the Services except as expressly permitted by us.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Finches uses artificial intelligence and related technologies to assist with transcription, summarization, note drafting, content organization, and other documentation and workflow-related tasks.

You acknowledge and agree that:

   • AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, misleading, or unsuitable for your intended use;
   • outputs generated by the Services may require human review, correction, and approval;
   • Finches does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of any transcript, summary, SOAP note, recommendation, or other generated output.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, validating, and approving all outputs before using, sharing, relying on, storing, or acting on them. Finches does not replace professional judgment, independent verification, or applicable standards of care.

6. Clinical Content, Drug Notes, and Calculator Tools

Finches may include proprietary clinical reference content, including custom drug notes, dosage-related materials, calculator tools, formulas, conversion tools, templates, and related documentation developed, curated, licensed, or made available by Vet Easy Inc. (collectively, “Clinical Content”).

The Clinical Content is provided for general informational and workflow-support purposes only. While we aim to make the Clinical Content useful and current, we do not warrant or guarantee that any Clinical Content, dosage information, calculation result, formula, conversion, note, recommendation, reference, or output is accurate, complete, current, clinically appropriate, or error-free.

You acknowledge and agree that all drug calculations, dosage outputs, conversions, formulas, and related results generated, displayed, or made available through the Services must be independently reviewed and verified by a qualified professional before being relied upon or used in practice. You remain solely responsible for all prescribing, dosing, administration, documentation, treatment, and clinical decisions.

Finches does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, or other professional advice, and does not replace professional judgment, independent verification, or applicable standards of care. Your use of any Clinical Content, drug note, dosage material, or calculation tool is entirely at your own risk.

7. No Professional Advice; No Replacement for Professional Judgment

You may upload, record, enter, submit, store, or otherwise provide content through the Services, including audio, text, transcripts, notes, templates, prompts, documentation, and related materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to the Services, you grant Vet Easy Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, format, modify, and create derivative works from that User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

   • you own or control all rights necessary to submit and use the User Content with the Services;
   • you have obtained all permissions, authorizations, and consents required by applicable law and professional obligations;
   • your User Content and your use of the Services do not violate any law, regulation, confidentiality duty, privacy right, or third-party right.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of uploading, processing, storing, sharing, or relying on it.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that we may process personal and technical information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation

Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees and charges disclosed at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions are currently offered through the Finches website only. Payment processing is provided by Stripe or another authorized payment processor selected by us from time to time. Finches does not currently offer direct subscription purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or annual basis and may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate, current, and complete billing and account information.

If your subscription is canceled, expires, or payment fails or is not successfully processed, we may suspend, restrict, or lock access to paid features of the Services, including access through the mobile application.

Except where required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

We may change subscription pricing, plan features, or billing terms at any time, and any such changes will apply on a prospective basis unless otherwise stated.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, branding, logos, interface elements, text, graphics, workflows, custom drug notes, dosage-related materials, calculator logic, formulas, conversion tools, templates, clinical reference content, and other content made available by Finches, are owned by or licensed to Vet Easy Inc. and are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, license, republish, scrape, extract, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Services or Clinical Content without our prior written consent.

You may not use any proprietary portion of the Services or Clinical Content, including custom drug notes, dosage references, calculator logic, formulas, workflows, templates, or structured outputs, for the purpose of building, benchmarking, fine-tuning, or training any artificial intelligence model, machine learning model, database, or similar system without our prior written consent.

“Finches,” “Vet Easy,” and all associated names, logos, marks, and branding are trademarks or trade dress of Vet Easy Inc. or its affiliates, whether registered or unregistered.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to, integrate with, or otherwise rely on third-party products, platforms, websites, software, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, security, or practices of any third-party service.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies between you and the applicable third party.

13. Availability and Changes to the Services

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components. We are not responsible for delays, outages, data loss, interruptions, or failures caused by internet providers, hosting services, third-party systems, device limitations, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

VET EASY INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, OR AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VET EASY INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
(b) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vet Easy Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

   • your use or misuse of the Services;
   • your User Content;
   • your violation of these Terms;
   • your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

   • you have violated these Terms;
   • your use of the Services creates risk for us, other users, or third parties;
   • we are required to do so by law or by a third-party provider;
   • your account is inactive for an extended period;
   • payment for a subscription is overdue or unsuccessful.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law provisions.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Services shall be governed by the laws of [Insert State/Province and Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that the courts located in [Insert Jurisdiction] shall have exclusive or non-exclusive jurisdiction, as applicable, over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services.

20. Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vet Easy Inc. regarding the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications, and agreements relating to the same subject matter.

22. App Store and Platform Terms

If you download, access, or use the Finches mobile application through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that your use of the mobile application may also be subject to the applicable terms, conditions, and policies of those platforms.

If you download the Finches iOS application through the Apple App Store, your use of the iOS application may also be subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license agreement is provided by us.

Apple, Google, and their respective affiliates are not responsible for the Services, their content, maintenance, support, or warranty obligations except as required under applicable law.
