Delete your Finches account

Finches is operated by Vet Easy Inc. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from this page, even if you are signed out or no longer have the app.

No sign-in is required. Submit the secure request form and we will contact the email address on the account to verify ownership. Submitting the form does not immediately delete or deactivate anything.

If you can still use Finches, the signed-in flow at Menu → Data Control → Delete account is faster because it verifies your password directly.

Request account deletion

If this form does not work, email privacy@finches.io. Never send your password or patient data.

What happens after deletion is scheduled

The recovery window begins only after account ownership has been verified and the deletion has been scheduled.

30 days to recover

Once deletion is scheduled, your account is deactivated immediately. During the next 30 days, you can sign in and select “Restore my account” to stop the deletion.

Personal data is erased

After the recovery period, your profile, personal cases, uploaded documents, preferences, and other account data are permanently erased, normally within 31 days of the scheduled request.

Clinic records remain

Cases, notes, transcripts, and uploaded documents created under a surviving clinic remain with that clinic. Its owner keeps access, and the clinic retains your name, email, and join and leave dates as business records.

Individual billing stops

An individual Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately when deletion is scheduled, with no refund for the remaining billing period. Clinic plans and ownership may need to be resolved first.

A note for clinic owners

A clinic owner cannot delete their account while the clinic has other active members or an active Clinics subscription. First remove the members and cancel the Clinics subscription or delete the clinic. If ownership needs to move to someone else, start the email request above and support will help arrange the next steps.
